First time homemade chicken hotdog using silicon mould

Hi everyone, I made chicken sausage yesterday. My prince likes to eat hotdog. But we all know the store bought hotdog is not good for health. I wanted to make it on my own for a long time. But not successful. Until I found this easy recipe.

First, we need to have the hotdog silicon mould to make the shape. I bought it from lazada. This recipe below can make 12 hotdogs. 2 silicon mould.

End result after steam
This is how it looks like in the mould.

  • 500gm minced chicken meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp chicken powder
  • 1tsp of salt
  • A dash of mixed herbs
  • A dash of black pepper
  • A dash of sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 1 tsp of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of corn starch

Method:-

1. Mixed all ingredients together. Except corn starch.

2. Keep it aside in the refrigerator to marinate for at least half an hour.

3. Next add in the corn starch.

4. Spoon it onto the mould.

5. Steam for 20mins.

6. It can be eaten straight away. Or keep in the freezer up to 3 months. Pan fry it or air fry when needed.
